We're big fans of a road trip here at Classic Retrofit, and our next one is exciting: a trip to Essen Techno Classica in Germany, where we are exhibiting in Hall 8 alongside the Quickfit SBS seat belt specialists.

Running from April 10th to 14th, Techno Classica is the world's largest classic car fair. More than 2,700 classics, collector and enthusiast vehicles, youngtimer classics and high-end machinery will once again make Techno-Classica Essen the world’s largest classic marketplace. 

Essen is great for a wide mix of classics: this show is not just an exclusive mix of unaffordable garage queens. Of course, there are prestige automobiles from the cream of international classic dealers, but at least half the privately owned exhibits are so-called 'utility classics': the lower end vehicles that can often be even more interesting, as we have owned a few of these in the past!

The wide selection of cars brings a wide selection of enthusiasts, so we always get talking to DIY-friendly owners, independent specialists and car dealers about our growing range of products, tangental applications for our technologies being explored by car builders and the new items we have in development. 

Having a presence at the stand in Hall 8 will be an interesting experience. We're there Thursday and Friday, so be sure to come over and say hello if you're at the show!
