This kit adds central vents to 200/300 Tdi Defenders and improves air flow and thermal efficiency. 

The kit divides the lower dash into insulated sections and ducts the air to new centre vents plus the existing screen/feet vents.  This prevents the air being ‘lost’ in the lower dash.  Hot or air conditioned air is now directed to the occupants rather than being absorbed by the dash.

The oval centre section of the lower dash is replaced with a part containing 2 new vents. The original mechanical lower vent mechanism and cable is removed since the new lower vents can be closed off manually.

Screen vents are always open.

When the lower vents are closed, more air is directed to screen for demist.

Note:  Some cars may have a rear wiper switch or cigar lighter in the factory oval section which will need relocation.
